Amy Miland

ABA Supervisor

Amy provides tutoring, programme supervision and consultancy to children and their families at home, in school and in the community. She designs individualised curriculums for children of all ages and is involved in providing training and workshops in and around Horsham.

Amy started working at SEN schools alongside her mum, before working as a tutor on ABA home programmes. She worked closely with families and supported on family holidays and respite weeks. Most recently, Amy worked at Jigsaw CABAS school, and was responsible for writing individualised curriculums and designing interventions for children aged 4-19 with varying levels of verbal behaviour. After observing the many positive results of individualised and functional targets on children and those around them, she is keen to continue working with families and training those around them. Since becoming a mum herself, she is aware of the ups and downs of family life and the importance of the right support.

After studying Applied Psychology and Criminology at Brighton University, she completed a Graduate Diploma in ABA at the Tizard Centre. From there she worked her way through her Teacher I and II CABAS ranks, whilst completing a Masters of Education in High Incidence Disabilities and ABA at Nicholls State University. She is currently working towards her BCBA certification and is a member of UK-SBA.
