Mary hails from Greece where she completed her basic training in Occupational Therapy, graduating in 2001. She did her final placement at TreeHouse which is how she discovered her interest in the use of ABA to support children with ASD.
After a year working for private clients in Greece she returned to TreeHouse as a qualified OT. She stayed at TreeHouse for almost 4 years and met some AMAZING people and children.
She returned to Greece between 2010-2012, working in a private clinic with children with various diagnoses: ASD, genetic disorders and syndromes- such as Down’s syndrome- cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and Developmental Coordination Disorder.
In 2011, she completed an MSc Occupational Therapy at the University of Derby , with an focus on autism. Her thesis investigated the current practice of OT with children and young people with ASD in the UK. Between 2010-2012, she completed Sensory Integration Therapy training (theory, assessment, Intervention) at the University of Southern California (USC)-Western Psychological Services (WPS).
